The Nadia Baroni and Luciano Gaffo award for students from developing countries - First Edition 2025 (DIPSTAT 2025/05)

A study award of 8.000,00 Euros for a.y. 2025/26 will be assigned to one student from Developing countries successfully applying for enrollment to Master Degree in Statistical Sciences at the University of Padova.

A master's degree program in Italian language (with some courses available in English) for those who already have quantitative skills and an interest in data science. Includes 5 mandatory exams for all students, providing a solid foundation in probability and statistics, followed by the option to choose 6 additional exams on more specific topics.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
a) hold a foreign Bachelor’s degree in the field of Statistics or a sector considered suitable by the Evaluation Committee. The degree must have been completed from 1st January 2021
onward;
b) being born in a developing country, as listed in the annex to this notice;
c) not yet 26 years of age on the date of publication of this notice;
d) not having been previously convicted of and not currently involved in criminal proceedings.

This study award is not for the purpose of education maintenance and is therefore compatible with the regional scholarship awarded for the a.y. 2025/26.
