Phd Course in Statistical Sciences: call for admission XLII cycle
Admission to the University’s PhD programmes is based on a competitive selection process focused on merit. Each programme has its own evaluation committee, which assesses the candidates and prepares a final ranking. Scholarships are awarded according to the ranking position.
To apply, candidates must hold:
- a Master’s degree or a single-cycle degree obtained in Italy,
- or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad with a minimum duration of four years.
For the XLII cycle (starting on 1 November 2026), the call for applications will be published on the University of Padua website:

Basic quantitative skills are required.
