"KinHealth" workshop, organized as the final event of the homonymous project funded by MUR and Next Generation EU, is an opportunity to bring together international experts and explore the dynamics of kinship networks and their impact on individual health and well-being.
On Friday, October 10, 2025, at Palazzo della Salute in Padua, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, the initiative, coordinated by Prof. Marco Tosi from the Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Padua, will be structured into four thematic sessions concerning the demographic structure of kinship, the quality of kinship ties, family support and obligations, and kinship and health.
The program of the "KinHealth one-day workshop: socio-demographic perspectives on kinship" includes the participation of speakers from prestigious European institutions and the presentation of the most recent research to offer new perspectives on topics such as complex family networks, social support in nuclear and extended families, and the impact of kinship ties on mental health.
The event is open to anyone interested in attending.
