Non-Clinical Statistics Conference – NCS 2026 comes to Padova

The Non-Clinical Statistics Conference – NCS 2026 will take place from 23 to 25 September in Padova. The event is scheduled at the Savhotel Mantegna and brings together statisticians and data scientists engaged in quantitative decision-making and the development of advanced statistical methodologies.

Organised under the patronage of the International Biometric Society, the conference addresses highly relevant topics such as computational biology, omics, toxicology, process development, in-silico models, artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as Bayesian methods and causal inference. Significant attention will also be given to cross-cutting themes such as reproducibility, data standardisation, and scientific collaboration.

The initiative represents an important opportunity for international dialogue and contributes to strengthening the visibility of the University of Padova in the global academic and scientific landscape, thanks also to the involvement of faculty members — particularly from the Department of Statistical Sciences (Unipd) — including Dr Francesco Denti (PhD – Plenary Invited Speaker), Professors Davide Risso and Bruno Scarpa (Scientific Committee), and Professor Laura Ventura (Organizing Committee).
