Selection announcement of 15 PhD grants for foreign students fully funded by the Fondazione Cariparo to attend Doctoral Courses, 33rd series, a.y. 2017/18 - Expired March 28, 2017

The University of Padova, through funding from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, offers research fellowships for foreign students to attend Doctoral Courses. During the 3-year doctorate programme, successful candidates are entitled to full board and lodging.

Every academic year the Course, jointly with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), offers n.1 scholarship to candidates from the People’s Republic of China.






The PhD Course in Statistics of the University of Padova is pleased to announce the availability of: 

  • no. 2 positions for sandwich PhD scholarships ('doutorado sanduiche'), 

  • no. 2 positions for full PhD scholarships ('doutorado pleno') and 

  • no. 2 post-doc positions ('pós doutorado')

within the Brazilian "Science without Borders" programme.

The University of Padova lists among the fourteen Italian Institutions, which on November 2012 established the Italian "Science without Borders"

Network for the exchange of students, scientists and scholars within the main programme. It shares its objectives of consolidating and expanding international scientific collaboration and strongly supports the programme by offering a wide range of study and scientific opportunities from undergraduate studies to post-doc involvement in research projects and labs.  

The next cycle of Doctoral courses will start in October 2015, and will end  in September 2018. All lectures are given in English.
