Thesis title: Response surface optimization for high dimensional systems with multiple responses Supervisor: Prof. Irene Poli Co-supervisors: Prof. Kate Smith-Miles and Prof. Rob J Hyndman The thesis is motivated by an applicative problem and deals with the experimental design and optimization of high dimensional systems with multiple responses. The work proposes and describes an evolutionary approach for the iterative selection of new experiments, and a meta-learning framework for the selection of models in multiresponse settings.
